STAGE
4.3m by 4.3m and 3.2m high from stage floor to stage ceiling. The Vanguard Stage has limited storage space behind the stage - L shaped, 1.5m wide by 3m long of usable room for stacking cases etc.
The venue provides an in-house PA and lighting system, full specifications below.
The venue has a drum kit available for use at no cost but no other backline including amps. Check the specifications below for full details:

DJ EQUIPMENT
The venue has a Pioneer DDJ-FLX6 controller for Rekordbox and Serato available for hire. It requires DJs to supply a laptop with USB-A or USB-C port, running either Rekordbox or Serato software to function. It integrates seamlessly with the programs and USB-A or USB-C and audio output cables are supplied. The DDJ-FLX6 doesn’t have a USB port to plug in flash drives so a laptop with Serato or Rekordbox is essential.
LIGHTING
THE VANGUARD DOES NOT PROVIDE A LIGHTING OPERATOR - PROMOTERS MUST BRING AN OPERATOR IF MORE THAN BASIC STATIC LIGHTING IS REQUIRED
Lighting is limited to static presets, all stage lighting is controlled by the iPad app Luminair, there isn’t a physical lighting controller.
Lighting operators can bring a DMX controller and connect via either ethernet to the node or direct 3 or 5 pin DMX. Access to the DMX can be made available to external operators with prior communication with the production manager. Please email harry6frank@gmail.com for further information.
Luminair runs via a wifi router connected via CAT5 to an eDMX 1 Pro Art-Net node.
All fixtures are DMX addressed on 1 universe with addresses available to operators for external controller programming.

PROJECTION
The venue has a 1080p HD projector mounted at FOH allowing projections on EITHER the full front of the stage, the dance floor wall to the side of stage or onto the ceiling above the dance floor but NOT ON THE BACK WALL of the stage.
There is also a motorised screen mounted down stage, in front of the performers, that can be used for slideshows and videos for functions. (It does obstruct the stage so isn’t used during live performances). Contact the production manager at least seven days prior to show day to arrange use, a laptop with HDMI output port is required to connect with our system.
