Pairing infectious pop hooks with haunting narrative, Fractures, AKA Mark Zito, has won fans and praise from his peers including Gotye and Chet Faker for his dark, alluring sound.

Chich (CD Launch)

Singer-songwriter Chich has one mantra: feel the song and let the audience know you’re feeling it. The Sydney born soul/blues devotee, has been developing his soul infused songs with an earthy modern feel, and is now launching his new album “I’m Alive” with his band of brothers, Simon Morel (lead guitar), Yann Charavel (bass) and Brad James (drums). Being genuine live performers, “I’m Alive” was recorded in the same manner as many of Chich’s favourite records, played live in a big room and letting the project develop organically, just like his influences Bill Withers, Tim Buckley, Donny Hathaway and others had done in the 70’s – getting back to translating the vibe of the music, room and moment on tape. With a great rhythm section and tasty lead guitarist behind him, Chich feels free to let go and enjoy the moment, freeing his gutsy, soul drenched voice to float between hard rock ‘n’ soul to sweet sultry ballads.
