Best known for her 2006 No.1 hit single I Wish I Was a Punk Rocker (With Flowers In My Hair), Scottish singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist, Sandi Thom is delighted to announce her first Australian tour launching her critically acclaimed album, Flesh and Blood.
Live, Sandi will not disappoint, dates in the UK and USA have had reviewers compare Sandi to the great Bonnie Rait. Since the release of Flesh and Blood has forged a reputation second to none, in October she had 'the biggest thrill' of her career playing at the Royal Albert Hall along side Brian May, John Paul Jones, Alice Cooper, Bruce Dickinson and other rock n roll greats as a part of the annual Sunflower Jam's Super Jam. "...to be on stage with these guys and to hear Brian May (Queen) say afterwards that I was the real deal was the biggest thrill," says Sandi. "It was a hell of a compliment. He asked me where I'd been all his life."
Now Sandi is here to grace Australian stages for a whirlwind tour to promote the release of Flesh and Blood.
