Folk/alt Country duo The McMenamins return to The Vanguard to launch their 4th studio album. Since their last release in 2010 they have toured the US twice including performances in Nashville, Austin, Portland and an official showcase at Folk Alliance in Memphis.
With their honeyed vocal harmonies and mandolin and violin driven instrumentals their music has been described as "beautiful acoustica" and "a delightful brand of country folk".
The McMenamins have won a number of credible songwriting awards and are now touring the country around their two performances at the Byron Bay Bluesfest.
Rolling Stone Magazine called their first release back in 2005 a "rock solid folk debut" and they are now taking their sounds to international stages and major festivals as they deliver "truly beautiful music" - (Peter Noble, Bluesfest Director).
