Timothy Nelson & The Infidels
Driven by award winning song writing, and knocked out of the park by an ensemble of spellbinding musicians, Timothy Nelson & The Infidels are a solar system of melody. The Infidels' sound wraps itself around the audience in a whirlwind of timeless folk pop, as the influences of The Beatles and Bob Dylan float atop a raging current of raw, honest lyrics that cut straight to the bone. The songs will stay etched in your memory long after the first listen, and the people just keep coming back for more.
Recently taking home the vaunted West Australian Music Industry Grand prize, song of the year, Timothy Nelson & the Infidels have cemented themselves in the Australian music fraternity. With a live show that leaves its audiences spellbound, this is an act not to be missed!
"With a raw unaffected and vulnerable writing style the lyrics of Nelson seem to jump off the page of an old fashioned paper journal" -- FasterLouder
The Bon Scotts
Melbourne seven piece, The Bon Scotts, are not an AC/DC covers band. They play a distinctively clamorous ramshackle folk-pop that will have you toe tapping and singing along to catchy choruses unawares. Theirs is an infectious blend of playful cynicism and youthful fancy, which has delighted audiences nationally and abroad. To date, The Bon Scotts have received comparisons to Arcade Fire, Architecture in Helsinki and The Flaming Lips.
Their energetic and mischievous live performances have taken their music to sold out shows across Australia, sharing stages with the likes of Stornaway (UK), The Tom Fun Orchestra (CAN), The Tiger and Me and Mark Lang (Skipping Girl Vinegar).
Diners will be on the Mezzanine level for this night. Bar food will be available from the bar.
