Following the release of their 2009 CD a.h.a.b. and a YouTube video of them busking, ahab were invited to play Fairport Convention's Cropredy Festival. 'Whispering' Bob Harris watched them storm the 15,000 strong crowd from the side of the stage and invited them there and then to record a session for his Saturday night BBC Radio 2 programme.
In February 2011 ahab played their first national UK tour comprising of over 20 shows with most of the dates selling out in advance.
In April 2011 ahab recorded a 5 track EP, kmvt at Peter Gabriel's Real World Studios, with John Leckie (Stone Roses, Simple Minds, Rodrigo y Gabriela) at the helm. kmvt was released on Navigator Records in autumn 2011. BBC Radio 2 enthusiastically supported the key track "Wish You" with regular prime time plays. kmvt was rush released into Scandinavian territories and "Wish You" was playlisted on Denmark's national radio station, NPR4.
ahab wrapped up 2011 with an 18 show sell-out UK tour with label-mates, Bellowhead.

Diners will be on the ground level directly in front of the stage for this night. Bar food will be available from the bar. General admission tickets will have access to seats on the mezzanine level and standing room in the bar area.
