Dom Turner (The Backsliders) and Ian Collard (Collard Greens and Gravy) invite you to the launch of their new CD "Mama Says We're Crazy Too"
Take your mind back to a time when the raw sounds of harmonicas and guitars meant real music for the people. In the the early 20th century, the deep south (USA) was the birthplace of a tantalisingly evil mix of sounds that became know as rural blues. Turner and Collard have been playing and studying this blues tradition for years, and have now come together to record an album that draws on artists like Mississippi Fred McDowell, Johnny Woods, Skip James, Blind Willie McTell and Lead Belly.
Diners will be on the ground level directly in front of the stage for this night. Bar food will be available from the bar. General admission tickets will have access to seats on the mezzanine level and standing room in the bar area.
